BOSSEA CAVES

The Bossea Caves are part of a karst system located between Prato Nevoso and the Corsaglia stream, in the municipality of Frabosa Soprana in the province of Cuneo; they are about 2 km long and have a difference in height of 700 m.

We spent a wonderful week in the apartment in early June 2021. Extraordinary and very kind welcome from Rina and Beppe. The location is truly suggestive, in an ancient house and immersed in a dream garden in the hills. Perfect the arrangement, the room, the hall, the kitchen and the supplies. We stayed a week in the top floor apartment, this last week of August 2020. We found everything clean and disinfected. Spacious rooms, beautiful views of the valleys in the center of which the building dominates, the ancient residence of a noble Nicoise family remembered by a coat of arms that stands out on the main facade. Also recommended for those who have small pets.

The service is good, the rooms need more attention. The bathroom very nice, new. The hostess is a kind and helpful elderly lady. The somewhat awkward position. The property can be reached via two roads, one unpaved but flat. The other is asphalted but very uncomfortable as there is a steep slope. It still has its charm
